Salvation Prayer

The kingdom of God is an idea wrapped in a Person. With a domain that stretches beyond time and space and with authority that transcends governments and power, God has established His kingdom in the hearts and hands of His people. Jesus chose to demonstrate His character through His people, the Jews. Over thousands of years God chose and developed a people to demonstrate His character: love, justice, peace, patience, provision, holiness and more. Through the law and the ten commandments God showed us that we are not perfect and that perfection can not be obtained through good works. Jesus came to fulfil those laws and show us a perfect life which He gave away for us. There was an exchange: His life for ours. His perfect life is exchanged for our imperfect lives. All we have to do is acknowledged our sin (that we have done wrong) and accept His righteousness (that He only did what was right) and we are saved, made whole and forgiven.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:17-18

Jesus is your helper, your friend, your saviour and your brother. If you would like to accept Him as your God pray this prayer out loud: “Jesus I accept that you lived a perfect life. God demonstrated His love for you and me by resurrecting you after you died from my sins being placed upon you and for receiving the punishment due to me. Forgive me. Bless me. Open us heaven over my life. I ask to receive Your Holy Spirit. Help me live for you and expand your kingdom. Amen”.
