When you’re building your business, your website, your social network, your following, your tribe, your idea, start by creating true value for your followers. It’s the techno-freaks who started to buy the iPod over 10 years ago. It wasn’t the throng who started using Twitter it was those guys who stay indoors on the PCs all day.

Your business will succeed when you pay attention to the one. To the zealot. To the passionate. When you start building your tribe dont think mass market, think small beginnings. Start to add value to that one person who you know will benefit most.

The zealot will influence the early adopter.
The early adopter will influence the majority.
The majority will influence the market.

Your role is to make that zealot feel like he’s the most important person in the world.
